REVIVE exists to help urban youth encounter Jesus, build healthy friendships, and connect with godly mentors. Each week, we share a meal, play games, and study God's Word.
For grades 6–8.
Summer 2024 Schedule
June 10–27, Junior-High Day Camp
Youth who have completed grades 5–8 are invited to join our REVIVE Junior-High Day Camp. This FREE camp will include lunch, games, Bible teaching, and weekly field trips.
August 1–4, Summer Retreat
Youth who have completed grades 6–12 are invited to join our summer retreat at Covenant Park Bible Camp in Mahtowa, MN.
Ministry Vision
The Problem
Many of the youth in our city are spiritually lost, while also facing complex problems such as fatherlessness, poverty, and childhood trauma. Generational cycles of brokenness and dysfunction keep them from any kind of positive vision for their future. Tragically, many of these youth are also alone—they have few (if any) healthy adult role models walking with them through these challenges.
The Solution
Jesus came to bring good news to the poor and brokenhearted. He gives beauty for ashes, joy for mourning, praise for a faint spirit. More than that, Jesus works through His rescued ones to restore what sin has devastated for many generations! (see Isa. 61:1–4) We believe that Jesus is still doing this work today as His Spirit-empowered followers make disciples. Because of this, our goal is to help followers of Jesus join Him in this work of making disciples through long-term, life-on-life mentoring relationships.
Our Approach
We run after-school programming at Hope Academy in order to create a safe context for these relationships to develop. Whether it's sharing a meal or playing games or studying God's Word, our desire is for youth to connect with a godly mentor who will walk through life with them for the long haul. Following Jesus is not easy. We want to not only tell youth about Jesus, we want to share life with them as we model for them what it means to be true disciples.
Gospel Partnerships
REVIVE is a partnership of various followers of Jesus working together to reach the youth of our city because we believe that we can accomplish more together than separate. We work with like-minded local churches, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions, with each playing various roles—sending volunteers; supporting financially; and/or providing coaching, training, and oversight.

If you are a follower of Jesus with a heart to invest in urban youth, you can serve at one of three levels:
Program Volunteer
Commit to serve at REVIVE weekly for one-year, seeking to have fun and get to know youth.
Life-on-Life Mentor
Commit to serve weekly at REVIVE and consistently spend time with mentee outside of program time. We will provide ongoing coaching and support for you.
Mentor Coach
Mature believers with experience discipling urban youth who commit to walking alongside other mentors
